These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Untangle iPhone app (“Untangle”, “the app”). By downloading or using Untangle, you agree to these Terms.
License agreement (EULA)
Untangle is licensed, not sold, to you for use under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to your use of the app. You can read the full agreement here:
What Untangle is — and isn't
Untangle is a personal tool for tracking recurring payments you enter yourself. It is not a payment processor, financial advisor, or bank. It never connects to your bank or cards and never processes payments. Costs, forecasts, and reminders are based on the information you enter (with currency conversions using daily exchange rates from a third-party provider) and are provided for your convenience — please verify important figures and dates with the relevant service provider.
Untangle Premium & subscriptions
- Untangle is free to use, with an optional Untangle Premium auto-renewing subscription ($2.99/month or $24.99/year).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; your tracked data stays put.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Untangle only for lawful, personal purposes and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app beyond what the EULA and applicable law permit.
Privacy
Your use of Untangle is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect nothing on our side, and your data stays on your device (and in your own private iCloud if you enable sync).
Disclaimer & liability
Untangle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any missed payments, charges, or losses arising from reliance on the information the app displays. You are responsible for managing your own subscriptions with each provider.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
